Problems with my computer?

Im trying to play and install spore on my computer. i have installed the game, but after that i entered the game into the computer but nothing came up. I have windows 7 and then a window popped up that had 2 options: run autorun or open folder to view files. I pressed run autorun but nothing started. what do i do?? I tried it with an other game (sims 2 castaway stories) but it still wont work...
