Why won't daemon tools open my sims 2 apartment life?

i have sims 2. and a lot of other expansions to it. and i downloaded sims 2 pets torrent and opened it with daemon tools lite and it works perfect. but when i download apartment life, or castaway stories, it installs and everything through daemon tools lite but when i try to open it it says i need to insert the disc. and daemon tools lite does have the game mounted. any help?
