Games with resource collecting and crafting mechanic?

I mainly play on the xbox, but I'm sure Minecraft is still your best bet. There is a knock off of minecraft called Fortress Craft releasing for the xbox on saturday (4/9/11) and I think it will also be available on the PC. It has some cool looking gadgets that minecraft doesn't have, but I don't think it will be as good. Personally, I would like to see a combo of both minecraft and Banjo Kazooie N&B (that's a game where you can build and use your own vehicles).
