How did Gilligan and his fellow castaways ever get rescued?

There 3 made for tv movies, the first one in 1978, the second in 1979, and the last in 1981. In the first one, there was a hurricane coming, so they made a raft and tied the huts on it. Gilligan started a fire on the raft to cook the fish, the skipper put it out before it burned the raft, but the smoke was seen by a helicopter which radioed a ship and they were rescued. But at the end of the movie, they were stranded back on the island. The second movie they were rescued again, but they decided to build a resort on the island. The third one, the Harlem Globetrotters make an appearance, to help the castaways save the island from an evil man who wanted the island.
